On the 13th of December 2019, our college, in collaboration with our esteemed alumni and the Lions Club of Vijayawada Global Doctors, organized a commendable initiative: the "Blood Donation Camp and Medical Camp." This collaborative effort aimed to serve the community by providing crucial medical assistance and fostering a culture of humanity through blood donation. Qualified medical professionals facilitated the blood donation process. Donors underwent pre-donation screening to ensure eligibility. Adequate arrangements were made to ensure the comfort and safety of donors. Donors were appreciated and provided with refreshments after donation. Skilled doctors and medical staff offered consultations and medical services to attendees. Various health check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and general health assessments, were conducted. Medications and basic healthcare advice were provided to individuals as needed. Through this initiative, we not only provided essential healthcare services but also fostered a culture of empathy and social responsibility among all stakeholders involved. We look forward to organizing similar impactful events in the future, continuing our commitment to serving the community.
