• To find solutions for problems including sexual harassment of women and girls.
• To educate female employees, instructors and students about their legal rights.
• To protect the rights of female employees, instructors, and students.

• To offer a forum for the hearing of grievances and their resolution.

Objectives:

The following are the goals of the Internal Complaint Committee to Prevent Sexual    Harassment of Women at Work:

• To create a policy at the Institute prohibiting the sexual harassment of women.
• To make sure that the policy is followed in letter and spirit by appropriately reporting complaints and handling their follow-up.
• Should respect the Institute's pledge to establish a gender-neutral environment.
• To encourage a psychological and social milieu that would increase consciousness regarding sexual harassment in all of its manifestations.
• To prevent any act of sexual harassment by establishing a safe, secure, and sociable workplace.
• To develop an ongoing system at the Institute for the avoidance and resolution of cases of sexual harassment and other gender-based violence.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) Responsibilities:

The ICC is responsible for the following:

(a) Supporting staff or students who wish to report something to the police;

(b) Offer channels for communication and dispute resolution so that problems can be foreseen

and resolved through just and equitable conciliation without violating the rights of the complaint and reduce the need for only punitive measures that fuel animosity, estrangement, or violence;

(c) Safeguard the complainant's safety by withholding their identity;

(d) Ensure that victims or witnesses are not victimized or subjected to discrimination while

 handling complaints of sexual harassment; and

(e) Ensure that it is prohibited to take adverse action or retaliate against an employee or student because they are participating in protected activity. The mandatory relief measures may include authorized leave, a relaxation of the attendance requirement, a transfer to another department or supervisor, or even the transfer of the offender.

• To explore and identify common avenues of interaction with industry.
• To establish convergence with industrial and research organizations from various fields through MOUs as a form of interaction.
• To support our students for employment, to get employer feedback of our alumni.
• To arrange Industrial/ Professional visits/internship for students to different Industries to get right exposure and opportunity for training.
• Maintaining regular interplay with the enterprise via Seminars, Guest Lectures, Conferences, and Corporate Meets etc.

Function and Responsibilities

• The Industry Institute Interaction is considered as a key aspect for the development of student knowledge and placements.
• The committee goes hands-on with the placement department to facilitate placement activities.
• To establish links with Industry like organising Industrial Visits, Expert talks of Industrialists, Promoting Industry Oriented Projects etc.
• To bridge the gap between Industry and the End Product of the Institute
• To provide ample opportunities to students in leading Industries for Summer Internship.

• Smooth functioning of the library and to facilitate coordination among faculty, students and management.
• Efficiently manage library resources to meet the academic and research needs of users.
• Advocate for the promotion and awareness of library services and resources within the institution.
• Develop and review policies to ensure effective operation and alignment with user requirements and best practices.

The major functions of the Library Committee:

• To propose library vision, strategy document
• To formulate various policies related to library like, purchase, space etc.
• To propose library budget for the Institutes
• To propose library activities, programmers and services
• To propose library and information literacy in the institute
• Online journal software awareness and for faculty publications and institutional publications.
• Implementing Library policies – Library Material Purchase Policy, Book Bank Policy, Electronic Resource Access Policy.
• To provide for proper documentation services and updating the Library collection.
• To work towards modernization and improvement of Library and documentation Services
• To formulate policies and procedures for efficient use of Library resources.

• Recognize the requirements, challenges, and assets within the community.
• Develop and execute programs based on identified needs.
• Apply gained knowledge and expertise to address identified issues.
• Record the activities in his work diary symmetrically and assess the progress periodically and effect changes as and when needed

• Assist students in securing employment opportunities by organizing campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and networking events with potential employers.
• Provide training and workshops to develop students' skills.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with companies and industries to understand their hiring needs, trends, and requirements, and facilitate internship and job opportunities for students.
• Engage with alumni to leverage their networks and experiences for mentoring, networking, and facilitating job placements for current students.
• Maintain accurate records of student profiles, placements, and feedback to track progress, analyze trends, and improve services.

• To make database mentioning companies information and contact details branch wise.
• To invite companies for the campus placement.
• To prepare institute placement brochure and circulate amongst the identified industries.
• To establish active communication with the industries.
• To invite delegates from industries to deliver expert lecture.
• To make arrangement for industrial training for the students.
• To conduct awareness seminars for the preparation of campus placement.
• To coordinate campus placement procedures.
