On behalf of NSS unit, Anti Ragging Awareness Programme was conducted for the I B.Pharmacy, II B. Pharmacy students in the college. This was organized in our college under the guidance of in the presence of our Principal Dr. A. Lakshmana Rao. The guest of the programme explained the ragging offences, acts and rules, violation of rules lead to filing of FIR, Criminal conspiracy to rag; Unlawful assembly and rioting while ragging; Public nuisance created during ragging; Violation of decency and morals through ragging; Injury to body, causing hurt or grievous hurt; Assault as well as sexual offences or unnatural offences; Physical or psychological humiliation; problems of student life if anybody involved in the ragging activities with some examples. He educated and motivated the senior and junior students to cooperate with each other in and around the college as well as in the society.
